Questions parents ask
Which set should we start with?
If it's his first set, pick a Beginner set. The Humvee is the quickest win at 96 pieces. The Landing Craft comes with 10 soldiers, so he can start playing the moment it's built.
What age are they for?
Beginner sets are made for kids 6 and up, with picture by picture instructions. Medium sets suit 8+. Hard sets are big, accurate replicas for 10+, or a younger kid building with you.
How much help will he need?
Beginner: a little help at the start, then he'll take over. Medium: most kids who've built before can do it alone. Hard: best as a project you build together. Every set shows its own guide.
How do the free gifts work?
Add 2 sets and we add 24 US soldiers free. Add 3 sets and we add a free M3A1 Stuart tank too. They go in your order automatically. Soldier packs are extras and don't count toward the gifts.
Isn't this a bit violent for a kid?
Kids have played with army men for 100 years. The difference here is you're sitting next to him, telling him what really happened, and why it mattered.
